Hyundai warrants your Hyundai vehicle with reasonable and valuable condition
A written promise from Hyundai to repair or replace a component of vehicle that develops a fault within a fixed period of time.
Hyundai manufacturer warranty is applicable for all Hyundai passenger vehicles including Hybrid Electric Vehicles for 5 Years / 100,000 km (whichever comes first).
The warranty period begins from the date of vehicle purchase / delivery. Warranty period, mileage and its overall details are specified in the service and warranty booklet.
Repair and replacement of any component originally manufactured and installed by HMC that is found to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use and maintenance.
The following items specified below comes with different warranty period that differ from the basic vehicle warranty.
- All Hyundai vehicles battery is covered by the warranty period of 2 years / 40,000 km.
- Hybrid vehicles battery is covered by the warranty period of 8 years / 160,000 km (whichever comes first) from the date of delivery.
The audio system is covered by the warranty for a period of 3 Years / 100,000 km (whichever comes first) for all Hyundai vehicles from the date of vehicle delivery.
The tires supplied with Hyundai cars are covered by the tire manufacturer's warranty. Warranty coverage of each tire is directly linked with its manufacturer.
If there is a defect in the original tires, whether in materials or workmanship, please check with the tire manufacturer or its authorized dealer or you can ask for help from the Hyundai dealer.
Normal maintenance services includes checking, tightening, adjusting, engine tune-ups, fuel system adjustment, wheel balancing, cleaning, lubrication, oil changes, replenishment of fuel, engine oil, transaxle fluid, brake fluid, clutch fluid, power steering fluid battery electrolyte fluid, anti-freeze coolant, windshield washer fluid, air-conditioner refrigerant and tire rotation. Normal maintenance items are warranted in normal services, only when the replacement is the result of a defect in material or workmanship.
- Negligence of proper maintenance as per the Owner's Manual
- Misuse, abuse, overload, accident, theft, water flooding or fire
- Use of improper or insufficient fuel, fluids, or lubricants
- Use of parts other than Hyundai Genuine Parts
- Any device and/or accessories not supplied by Hyundai
- Modifications, alterations, tampering or improper repair
- Deterioration or rubber parts, upholstery and soft trim under normal use and exposure
- Slight irregularities not recognized as affecting quality of function of the vehicle or parts, such as items considered characteristic of the vehicle
Such as fuel, telephone, travel, loading inconvenience, commercial and /or personal loss of use of the vehicle.
Any vehicle where the odometer mileage has been altered, Airborne 'fallout', industrial fall-out, acid rain, salt, hail and wind storms, or other Acts of God.
Paint scratches, dents, or similar paint or body damage. Action of road elements (sand, gravel, duster road debris) which results in stone chipping of paint and glass.
